“Welcome to Grasshoppers School” is a renewed collaboration between two creators of “Zehu Ze” – director Moti Aviram and screenwriter Haim Idisis. Sixty sketches spread across 15 episodes, set to air during the Passover holiday starting from the 28th of the month.

The hosts of the Kids Channel step into the shoes of over 30 different and bizarre characters inhabiting the eerie, fenced-off area known as the school in every neighborhood. A school where education seems to be ruined but “Grasshoppers School” is also a particularly hilarious place. The principal is megalomaniac, her deputy is an overgrown child, the janitor is the boss, and the substitute teacher can’t find a replacement class. The gym teacher insists on composing a new school bell chime, the counselor is likely psychopathic, and the teaching staff is under her therapy – rightfully so. The students have been on a break since 2001, or maybe it’s a strike – who remembers, the main thing is they aren’t really learning. Sixty sketches that will show you there are many sides to a school besides education that you might not have known or just haven’t noticed.
